BTS: Making LBL Natural Essentials

In this post, I delve into the journey that led to the creation of LoveBug Luv and the reasons behind its evolution into an educational platform. Discover the inspiration behind LoveBug Luv and understand why we’ve shifted our focus towards educating others about holistic wellness. Join me as I share the story of how we got to this point and the vision for helping more people through knowledge and natural healing practices.

Hi, I’m Candyce Abbott. Born and raised in California, I’ve embraced life as a Texan for the past 13 years. My background spans three key areas: Animal Care, Culinary Arts, and Aromatherapy. I hold a Culinary Degree and, before founding LoveBug Luv, I was the General Manager of a breakfast restaurant.

My grandmother, Dolores Ringor, is an incredible woman who deeply influenced my journey. Growing up with her, I learned about various cultural traditions and alternative medicine. She was a self-employed massage therapist, and her teachings laid the foundation for my interest in aromatherapy and holistic wellness. This inspired me to pursue my Aromatherapy Certification.

I started making soap in 2021, driven by a desire for natural, essential products. This passion led me to expand my product line, helping hundreds of individuals improve their skincare. However, I realized that while I was helping people, it wasn’t in the way I truly wanted. I found myself more excited about addressing individual needs and desires, which led me to focus on education.

I tried offering classes, but they didn’t fit everyone’s schedules. So, I began writing blogs to share my knowledge. As I continued learning, I enrolled in an Aromatherapy Certification course, which is enhancing my ability to help more people.

Now, I’m creating a space for all of us to explore holistic wellness together. This community is for anyone open to looking at their situation differently and striving for a healthier life through nature’s healing methods. Instead of masking our challenges with medication—though sometimes necessary—we work to transition our minds and bodies into healthier versions of ourselves. Join me on this journey toward holistic wellness!
